Databases

Lexis-Nexis Academic – A great first-stop for all business research needs.  Provides business, tax, law, news and general interest articles and reports from over 7,000 full text publications.  Includes the New York Times.

JSTOR – An archive of the full text of over 200 business, economics, political science, and public policy and administration scholarly journals.  These titles are complete runs, in some cases back into the 1800’s and up until 2 to 5 years ago.  Use this for a more historical perspective. 

ABI Inform – A leading business and management index to over 2,000 journals and other publications with some links to full text.   1971 – present.  Use this if the first two did not have enough.

Wilson Select Plus – contains indexing and full text for select journals from Wilson Business Abstracts.  1994 – present.

General Business File ASAP – More articles on management, economics, politics, and company reports.  From the Tennessee Electronic Library.  1980 – present.

Wall Street Journal Online – For current issues and 90 day article archive.  Username and password both tenwes.
