Convocation Schedule

All full-time, Athens day students (enrolled in 12 or more credit hours) are required to attend five convocations each semester for a total of 10 per academic year. Convocations are programs meant to bridge the gap between academics and everyday life. Previous convocations have been on topics such as: nutrition, chapel services, appreciating diversity, and more. There are between 15 to 20 convocations offered each semester so students can choose what’s best for them. If a student does not attend five convocations each semester, a fee of $10 will be applied for each one not attended. For example, if a student only attends two convocations, a fine of $30 will be applied. For a look at the current convocation schedule, click here.
