Every floor in our residence halls has a staff member called a Resident Advisor or RA. The RA is a returning student that has been trained to be of assistance to residents on their floor and in the building. The RA staff is on duty seven days a week, doing rounds on all of the floors and providing lobby hours each evening from 7 to 9 p.m. RAs also plan and implement activities for the residents on their floor. The RAs can help you with anything from a maintenance issue to assisting you in registering for classes. They are the “jack of all trades” for campus residence life.
