Posted on: September 22, 2011
Yearbooks, catalogs and other materials available online.
ATHENS, Tenn. – Tennessee Wesleyan College's Merner Pfeiffer Library recently completed efforts to digitize yearbooks, College catalogs and historical materials for the United Methodist Church – some dating back to the late 1700's.
The information is available for public use and can be accessed on the library's website, http://library.twcnet.edu/, by clicking on the link in the "What's New" section on the front page.
"Apart from this being a great digital archive, it is fun to find former teachers, classmates and past events," said Sandra Clariday, Associate Dean for Library and Information Services.
In addition, staff members Julie Adams and Carlton Ealy have worked diligently to digitize other TWC photos and documents on the Digital Library of Appalachia's site, www.aca-dla.org and choosing Tennessee Wesleyan College on the left side of the page.
