Contemporary Christian and country artists to play at TWC's Spring Fling concert
TWC will be hosting its Second Annual Spring Fling event on Saturday, April 12.
Tennessee Wesleyan College will be hosting its Second Annual Spring Fling event on Saturday, April 12 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on TWC’s Wesley Commons Lawn. An annual spring semester concert series that is open and free to the community, this year’s performers will be pop/rock Christian band Anthem Lights and contemporary country artist Brett Young.
In addition to the music, TWC will have three inflatable games for guests as well as student organization tables set up. Dinner will be available to purchase for community guests and will be free for all TWC students. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or camp chairs to sit on.
Sponsored by TWC’s Student Activities Board, the college’s Spring Fling concert series is meant to bring community members and TWC students, faculty and staff together.
“I am very excited to be a part of putting together the college’s Second Annual Spring Fling,” said Rachel McDonald, club chair on TWC’s student activities board. “This year will be even better than last year’s inaugural event. We have some amazing performers coming to campus and hope this will be a great opportunity for students and the community to interact."
“This is such a great event for everyone to come together and to enjoy great music, activities, and fellowship,” said Kerrie Lynn, TWC director of student activities. “TWC’s SAB has really outdone themselves and organized some great talent in Anthem Lights and Brett Young and I can’t wait to hear them live.”
