Course Description:

Welcome to Introductory Cell Biology. This course is designed to broaden your understanding of cellular structure and function at the molecular level. Emphasis is given to the cellular topics of energy flow, metabolic pathways, cellular communication, and reproduction. The accompanying lab involves current techniques in biochemistry and cell biology including ion-exchange chromatography, cell culture, membrane isolation, SDS-PAGE electrophoresis, and western blotting.
