Welcome to Tennessee Wesleyan College Sports Medicine!
The Tennessee Wesleyan College Sports
Medicine staff consists of three full-time certified athletic
trainers that use their skills and knowledge to prevent,
evaluate, treat, rehabilitate, and perform functional exams on
athletic injuries incurred by athletes during practices and
games.
The staff certified athletic trainers
work under the auspices of the National Athletic Trainer's
Association (NATA) and the Tennessee Athletic Trainers Society
(TATS). The program is also greatly assisted by Dr. Eric
Clarke, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, and Dr. Sam Olsen, MD, an
internist specialized in sports medicine. They conduct annual
physicals and evaluate many of our athletes throughout the
year.
The athletic training facility at Tennessee Wesleyan College
provides care for all injured Tennessee Wesleyan College
athletes during their training and competition. We are located
on the outside, lower level of Robb Gymnasium.
