International Applicants
To be considered for admission to Tennessee
Wesleyan College, international students must:

admission to TWC, international students must:
1. complete an International Student Application
for admission and submit it with a $25 (U.S.)
application fee;
2. present an official transcript (Academic
Record) in a certified translation into
English if their native language is other than
English;
3. submit to Tennessee Wesleyan College an
official copy of the TOEFL score, which must be
at least 550 (paper-based), 213
(computer-based), or 79 (Internet-based) to gain
admission to the College;
4) be sure that the Tennessee Wesleyan College
Office of Admissions has the complete file of
items #1-3, for only then may the applicant be
considered for admission to TWC;
5) if transferring from another college in the
United States, submit the appropriate I-20
transfer forms, copy of I-94 card, and meet the
College’s transfer admission requirements;
6) pay one-half of the balance for tuition,
room, board, and fees (less institutional aid)
for the academic year by July 1 for enrollment
beginning fall semester and November 1 for
enrollment beginning spring semester. An I-20
will be issued and signed by the Designated
School Official (DSO) after advance payment for
the academic year is received. The remaining
balance is due at Registration/Check-In (with
25% in August and the remaining 25% in January.)
Routing instructions for Electronic Fund
Transfers from international banks are available
in the College Business Office. Payments must be
made in U.S. dollars. VISA and MasterCard are
also accepted.
7) all international students who are receiving
Tennessee Wesleyan College institutional aid
will be required to reside in the residence
halls. Foreign nationals who receive no
institutional aid and who meet all the criteria
to move off campus may choose to do so, but are
not encouraged to select this option.
International students
