Scholarships
Every prospective
Tennessee
Wesleyan
College student (with exception to evening
students) who is planning to attend full time is eligible for an institutional
award based on academic guidelines. Students
qualifying for the Hope/Lottery Scholarship (TELS)
will receive that amount in addition to other
scholarships.
-
Athletic Scholarships are determined
and awarded by TWC coaches. Interested students
are encouraged to
fill out a “Prospective Athlete" form which is
found on the
athletics page and contact the coach by
phone or email. *Note: If a
student receives an athletic scholarship it
will not be combined with academic
scholarship offers.
-
Academic Scholarships and Scholarship
Competition Day
Academically students are awarded an
amount according to their ACT/SAT scores and
GPA. Scholarships are renewable for three
additional years as long as the student
maintains certain GPA requirements. An
approximate amount for which a student
qualifies can be determined once Admissions
receives the
student’s current transcript and all ACT/SAT
scores.
Students have the opportunity to increase
their institutional award from Tennessee
Wesleyan College by participating in our
Scholarship Competition Day. The competition
is open to
high school seniors who are interested in
enrolling the upcoming fall semester.
The competition date will be posted on our website,
along with an online registration.
Invitations will be mailed/emailed to
prospective students. Students interested
in participating must (1) submit an
application for admission and a copy of
their transcript with ACT/SAT scores before
competition and (2) Complete the online
registration form. Students will
compete for scholarships based on GPA,
ACT/SAT scores, an on-campus essay and
interview with our Faculty and Staff.
-
