The person electing this major could be licensed
to teach science in grades 7-8 and chemistry
in grades 9-12.

C 333 Instrumental Analysis 5 s.h.
C 351 Coordination Chemistry OR

B 171 Introductory Cell Biology 4 s.h.
B 173 General Botany 3 s.h.
B 174 General Zoology 3 s.h.
B 360 Principles of Ecology 4 s.h.
P 211, 212 General Physics I, II 8 s.h.
M 141, 142 Pre-Calculus Mathematics I, II 6 s.h.
*Required for those students who wish to be
licensed to teach. The B.S. in General Science/Chemistry requires
completion of the General All College
Requirements
listed on page 4. A minor in Biology, Math, or
Business Administration is recommended if a
student is not being licensed to teach. Those
students wishing to be licensed to teach must
complete
the Enhanced ACR II and 38
semester hours of professional education, as
listed
under the Education Department in the college
catalog.
Requirements for a minor in Chemistry
