Test-Taking
Test-Taking Strategies
Study hard and be prepared
Don't "cram" for a test
Get plenty of sleep the night before a test
Drink plenty of water - "hydrate your brain"
Arrive early
Listen to verbal instructions and read test directions carefully
Reducing Anxiety
Try to do something relaxing the hour before the test
Avoid classmates who generate anxiety or upset your stability
Tense and relax muscles throughout your body
Take a couple slow deep breaths
Focus on answering the question, not on your grade or others' performance.
