    Read the Introduction and Summary

    Read all Headings

    Look at Key Words

    Examine graphics

Read the Assignment - make notes as you read

Review - go back over your pre-reading strategies

Note any questions you have before class - if not answered by class presentation, ask the instructor.

Review again after material is presented - re-write your notes.  Do you understand the material?
