B273 - General Botany
Course Description:
An introduction to the study of the structure, development, life cycles, physiology, and evolutionary and ecological relationships of the major groups of photosynthetic protistans; fungi; and non-vascular and vascular plants. Three hours of lecture and one two-hour laboratory per week. Prerequisites: B 171, B 172. (Spring 2011 and alternate years thereafter; not open to students who have completed B 173.)
