Stefanie West

Welcome to Tennessee Wesleyan College! I am the Director of Evening Admissions for Athens and Cleveland. Our ME Program is currently available in Athens, Cleveland, and Knoxville. The most rewarding aspect of my job is helping others achieve their goal of earning a higher level of education. The degree received at TWC is so much more than just a piece of paper. TWC has a strong reputation and is highly recognized by employers for quality degrees.

I was born and raised in Athens, Tennessee. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphases in Human Resource Management and Computer Information Systems from Tennessee Wesleyan. While attending TWC, I was a member of the Concert Choir, the Business Club and Sigma Kappa Sorority. As a student, I balanced a full course load while working and maintaining a home with my husband and child, so I can certainly relate to the challenges that non-traditional students face on a daily basis.  Currently, I am enrolled in our online MBA program.  This program is allowing me to increase my knowledge and expertise in management and the global environment of continuous changes in all facets of business.

My husband, Jamie, and I have been married since 1991.  We are Army strong parents of our son-in-law and daughter, Dakota and Amanda Means.  Our son, Thomas, is an active athlete and student at Riceville Elementary. He enjoys bringing our English Bulldog, Brutus, to campus for students to see and represent the TWC Bulldogs.

I am active both on and off campus with various organizations. Among my many responsibilities, currently, I am a member of the Greater Athens Human Resource Association (GAHRA), the Loudon/Monroe Human Resource Association (LMHRA), and the Southeast Tennessee Association of Human Resources (STAHR) in Bradley County.

I would love the opportunity to assist you from admission to graduation. I will offer guidance and sound advice as we review your long term goals and plans. Please contact me with any questions you may have, or to schedule a campus visit. Just let me know what days and times would be best for you, and I'll accommodate your schedule. My office hours are very flexible, so I can even meet with you after normal working hours. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
