Education

The Department of Education and Psychology at Tennessee Wesleyan College is dedicated to the preparation of competent professionals, reflective practitioners, and service-oriented individuals whose knowledge, skills, dispositions and values will enable them to create academic programs that will meet the needs of their students and the communities that they serve. The Teacher Education Program provides a series of courses and experiences that culminate in a full semester of student teaching. The entire program is a cooperative effort combining high quality instruction on campus with the active resources of local school systems.
