Congressional internships are
available in one of U.S. Representative Zach Wamp’s offices. Full- and
part-time internships in his Chattanooga, Oak Ridge, and Washington, D.C.,
offices offer hands-on experience in learning about government, the
legislative process, and how a congressional office serves the community.
Interns will help the office function by performing necessary office
duties, communicating with other offices and government agencies,
researching projects, and maintaining historical records. Interns maintain
regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Additional consideration will
be given to candidates who reside in Tennessee’s Third District or are part
of an educational program. Interested candidates can fill out an
application at
http://www.house.gov/wamp/internships.shtm and e-mail it to
al.stewart@mail.house.gov in Chattanooga,
gina.mcmahan@mail.house.gov in Oak Ridge, or
ehall@mail.house.gov in Washington, D.C.
TWC students needing assistance with resumes should contact
