Circulation Assistant
The Merner Pfeiffer Library has
a part-time position (20 hours per week) now available. This position is
responsible for circulation activities in the library including but not
limited to checking materials in and out to patrons, basic reference and
website help, and supervision of library student assistants. The position
requires the ability to work at least one evening per week and some Sundays, a
high school diploma (post-secondary preferred), computer application skills,
good public service abilities, and organizational and supervisory abilities.

Computer Technician
Job functions:
• Script and Manage MS-SQL 2005/2008
• Provide basic instruction to employees on system and application software.
• Identify research and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
• Set up computers, install and configure software/hardware/peripherals.
• Troubleshoot PC workstation and peripheral problems.
Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of MS-SQL, Microsoft Windows Server 2000, Server 2003,
Server 2008 and Exchange 2007
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Office 2003 and 2007
Professional, required.
• Must have strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication
skills and must exhibit a strong work ethic and attention to details.
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Must be physically able to lift and carry PCs and peripherals.
• Must be willing to work occasional overtime or odd schedules to accommodate
workload or special projects.
• Associate of Science Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and
certifications.

Director of the Center for Servant Leadership
A national search for a Director of the Center
for Servant Leadership at Tennessee Wesleyan College is underway. The
successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, however, a
graduate degree is preferred. Experience with service learning and servant
leadership programs is also desired. The Director of the Center for Servant
Leadership will be responsible for implementing the new service
learning/servant leadership program on the TWC campus. The successful
candidate will also oversee the expanded Freshman Experience Program and the
Servant Leadership Honor’s Program. This position will report directly to the
Vice President for Academic Affairs and will remain open until filled. The
Center for Servant Leadership is scheduled to open in the fall of 2010.

graduate hours in the discipline and will be required to teach entry and
higher-level courses in the Business Administration Department. The successful
candidate will also be expected to teach in the Athens Evening and Knoxville
Evening programs.
